happy holiday {happy reading}

i'm enjoying a long holiday weekend with family and friends {hopefully, you are too!} we celebrated with a parade & fireworks yesterday, and today we're staying cool indoors with a few good books. i'm in the middle of 3 thought-provoking, somewhat intense books that are really challenging my perspective {my most favorite thing}.
warning: these are not summer-beachy-fluffy-books {although that sounds wonderful!}. these books are perfect for stirring up new thoughts that hopefully lead to increased amounts of faith and contentment this summer. what are you reading this holiday?
