volunteer break room {ideas}

Volunteer Break Room

i'm a believer that every great volunteer team should have a break room where they can relax, kick up their feet, eat a donut {or 3} and quiet their hearts before or after their serving experience.

to me, a dedicated space for volunteers doesn't have to be a luxury -- it can be a small closet, the back of the kitchen, or even a hallway. as long as it communicates thoughtfulness & gratitude, and gives volunteers a place of their own to hang their coats, say a prayer, and feel encouraged, it's perfect.

a few ideas today for re-decorating, or starting up your break room:

1. Inspiration Room

2. Bookend for Bookshelves

3. Wall Hanging

4. Toys for Relaxing

5. Fruit Bowl for Snacks

6. Supply Cart

I'm new to this blogging thing, but I'm already seeing new ideas that I had never thought of before! What an awesome idea! We are a church that once used to be huge but not so much anymore. With that comes extra rooms in our church to use! Better than a bag with the church logo on it every year-ha!

p.s.-see you at Kidmin!
